Fantastic visit with Forish Construction of Westfield earlier today!
Forish Construction recently celebrated 75 years of public, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Western Mass. You would be hard-pressed to drive through the area and not come across a facility that they had a major role in completing. I enjoyed learning more about one of their latest projects on Turnpike Industrial Road, unfortunately I could not take the yellow vest home with me.Wishing Eric Forish and his team continued success.

WESTFIELD – Eric Forish, president of Forish Construction of Westfield, recently presented plaques of appreciation to two long-time employees, Jim Conroy and Jeff Gonyer.
Each man has worked for the company for 45 years. Conroy works as a state licensed construction supervisor and Gonyer is both a state licensed hoisting and heavy equipment operator and holds a federal commercial driver’s license. Neither man is willing to retire.
Forish called the men’s continuing service with the company “a tremendous achievement” and noted that each has worked for the company for more that half of the life of the family-owned company which began its 75th year of operation on New Year’s Day.
WILBRAHAM – After putting the project out to bid three times, the Select Board has awarded the general contract to build the town’s new Department of Public Works garage to Forish Construction Co, Inc.
In a unanimous vote Monday, the board approved a bid of $714,676 from the Westfield-based construction company. The meeting was held via GoToMeeting conferencing software due to the coronavirus pandemic.
